Our school is built to inspire creativity and innovation and to encourage to respect and protect our planet.
Teaching Methods at La Nouvelle Ecole

Following bi-weekly themes such as the continents, time and the calendar, our focus is centered on developing communication and language, literacy, mathematics, geography, art and design, and understanding the world.

La Nouvelle Ecole Geneve offers a unique learning environment. Learning is done in small group to enhance academic excellence and develop personal social connections.

We use some of the Montessori teaching methods to encourage independance, and inquiry based learning methods to stimulate the curiosity and will of learning.

We encourage our students' to be confident, helpful, and curious learners with good social, emotional, and motor skills.
Children enjoy daily workshops, a nutritious healthy lunch, outdoor play, sports classes, art and craft and more.
After-school Activities

We enrich our children’s learning experience, broaden their horizons, equip them with skills. From book clubs, music and dance, gymnastics, swimming, and to even yoga!

After-school activities are open to all our school's children every afternoon.

Music and Movement
One of the highlights in our children’s week is our music and dance class. Our children learn different rhythms, dance moves, musical instruments, and have a blast!
Science for Kids
As an introduction to science from an early age, this after school activity exposes our children to the basics of chemistry, astronomy, biology, physics and more. Physical experiences with natural materials, experimenting and observing, combining fundamental science and technology basics.
Sports and Gymnastics
Our sports and gymnastics class with an experienced instructor has been a huge success, and will continue for both age groups, during the school day and as an additional after-school activity.
Yoga for Kids
For both the younger and older groups, we offer yoga classes with experienced instructors. We learn and practice Yoga through breathing, mindfulness, relaxation and Yoga basics.
Birthday Parties
We are always thrilled to celebrate our children's birthdays in customized parties according to the children’s and parents’s preferences. From “My little Pony” to “Cars” birthday themes are a huge success, during which our teachers lead educational activities .
Cooking Classes
Our children in both age groups enjoy cooking classes during the school day and as an after-school activity. This upcoming school year we will introduce a new cooking class program developed for kids in the UK.
Arts and Crafts
Our arts and crafts classes, both during daytime and as after-school activity, expose the children to different materials enable them to explore and create while they achieve structured goals.
Land Art
During land-art classes our children experience creating art from nature while connecting to and learning about nature and the environment.
Holiday Programs

We are thrilled to introduce to you our Holiday Programs.
During the major vacations, we open the school to offer enhanced educational programs. Our holiday programs continue the academic curriculum, including reading, sports, arts and crafts, science and math, skills, music and dance and much more. Additionally, each Holiday Program has a special theme. Our themes focus on important global values, such as environment preservation, innovation and science, culture from around the world, and more

EARTH Week
During this fun-filled week we will learn about protecting our environment. We will combine recycling with art and become more responsible for our place on our little planet.
Little SCIENTISTS
We will learn about biology, chemistry and physics through fun experiments and games, exposing our little learners to the basics of nature and science.
FAIRY-TALES From Around the World
Fairy-tales are not only fun and fascinating, they teach us important morals and expose us to different cultures from around the world. During this week we will learn and perform classical tales while focusing on morals and culture.
Little MARINE Biologist
During Marine Biology week we learn about sea creatures, from strange and tiny animals to huge mammals, clean water preservation, and animal social life and communication. We will also meet Marine exploration specialists !
Little ATHLETES
During this week, in addition to our academic program, we will enjoy team sports. Our focus will be on teamwork and participating in a variety of different sports.
Little INNOVATORS
Developing creativity through innovative creation and problem-solving will be our focus this week. Using different tools and constructing solutions in a fun way.
Little ARTISTS
This week, we will explore many forms of Art! From sculpture, painting, music, and even photography. We will learn about light, colors, shapes and sounds, and use them to express feelings, ideas and stories.
HISTORY Week
Our little ones will learn and experience ancient and modern history through stories, drama reenactment, and art. We will travel back to the age of dinosaurs and cavemen, ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire and go all the way to the Industrial Revolution and landing on the moon!
